AT&T Partners With Everbridge for Critical Event Comms

AT&T’s latest move will appeal to businesses and other organisations seeking to better handle their communications in a crisis, be it severe weather, operational disruptions or an external threat that poses a danger to employee safety.
The US telco has announced it will offer enterprise and public sector customers access to Everbridge 360, a critical event management solution designed to help organisations quickly notify the right people, coordinate response teams and support business continuity during emergencies and disruptions.
The telecoms provider will make Everbridge 360 available to eligible customers as part of a package that combines Everbridge critical event management software with AT&T wireless connectivity.
How the solution works
By combining AT&T's connectivity with the Everbridge 360 solution, customers will be able to deliver multi-channel mass notifications and provide a dedicated workspace to coordinate response efforts.
The solution is delivered with AT&T wireless connectivity designed to keep communications available during critical moments.
The Everbridge-powered platform enables users to send critical information to targeted groups or an entire organisation quickly and securely via the Everbridge critical event management platform.
Streamlined incident management tools support incident templates, scheduling and escalation to help teams coordinate response.
The offering includes near real-time location awareness and geofencing capabilities to help organisations understand who may be affected by an incident and communicate accordingly.
Mobile safety features such as SOS alerts and configurable safety tools help support employee safety, including for remote and mobile workforces.
Connecting first responder capabilities to business
Lani Ingram, Vice President of Connected Solutions at AT&T, says the partnership builds on the company's existing work with emergency services.
"Organisations need the ability to communicate and coordinate in seconds – not minutes – when the unexpected happens," Lani says.
"AT&T is trusted for our work with first responders; by offering Everbridge 360 with AT&T connectivity, we're helping businesses and public sector organisations strengthen their critical communications and response capabilities to better protect people and keep operations moving."
AT&T underpins FirstNet, the network used by the country’s first responders.
AI-powered risk intelligence
Everbridge 360 offers risk mitigation capabilities powered by purpose-built AI that are designed to streamline the management of critical events on one platform. The system aims to enhance emergency response and reduce communication delays through mass notification.
The platform combines AI-powered risk intelligence, situational awareness, automation, incident orchestration and operational coordination within a unified interface. This approach helps organisations move beyond reactive communications toward coordinated operational resilience and enterprise-wide critical event management.
The solution operates within the domestic US and is available only to eligible customers with a qualified AT&T agreement.
Dominic Jones, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Everbridge, says the collaboration reflects shared priorities between the two companies: "AT&T and Everbridge share a commitment to supporting organisations with the tools they need to manage complex incidents.
"By combining the AT&T network with the Everbridge critical event management platform, customers gain a reliable way to issue targeted alerts, coordinate response, and maintain situational awareness across their operations."
