Mike Brooman, Director of Procurement at Community Fibre praises the professionalism of Luminance's team during the on-boarding process
London-based broadband provider Community Fibre is deploying Luminance’s AI platform to streamline its procurement and contract management processes

Community Fibre has chosen Luminance’s AI platform. The London-focused fixed broadband provider will use it to centralise contract intelligence, streamline its procurement operations, accelerate contract reviews and support its growth plans.

The ISP’s services are underpinned by a complex supply chain spanning civil engineering, technology, software and professional services.

With a high volume of legal agreements requiring constant review, Community Fibre sought an AI-based solution to increase efficiency, standardise commercial positions and boost visibility across contractual obligations.

ā€œSince Community Fibre was founded, we’ve built a lean, fast-moving and highly adaptive culture,ā€ says Mike Brooman, Procurement Director at Community Fibre.

ā€œAs we continue to grow, AI represents a natural next step in helping us deliver even greater value to the business while maintaining an efficient operating model.

ā€œLuminance stood out as a mature, enterprise-ready platform that fits naturally into the way our teams work.

ā€œThe Luminance team has also been outstanding throughout the process, constantly sharing expertise and ensuring we achieve maximum value from the platform.ā€

Driving procurement efficiency

Through the deployment of this platform, the company will secure greater visibility of commitments, renewals and obligations while reducing administrative overheads.

The software will also assist with future due diligence and the frontline review of incoming supplier agreements.

ā€œCommunity Fibre is a fantastic example of a highly successful business embracing AI to support operational scale and efficiency,ā€ says Eleanor Lightbody, CEO at Luminance.

ā€œTheir focus on creating a centralised source of contractual intelligence while empowering teams to move faster aligns perfectly with our mission to help organisations transform contracts from an administrative burden into strategic business assets.ā€

Luminance was created through the work of AI experts from the University of Cambridge and markets its AI agents as being ā€˜Legal-Grade’.

It states that its multi-agent platform can automate entire workflows, understand clauses and evaluate legal and commercial impact. It also learns over time, becoming increasingly adapted to each client business’s context and requirements.

Under its own brand, the company also operates in parts of Surrey and Sussex, where it previously operated as Box Broadband before May 2024.

The operator offers speeds of up to 5Gbps for consumers and packages of up to 10Gbps for businesses.

Community Fibre came top in Opensignal’s December 2025 Fixed Broadband Experience in London for Download and Upload Speeds, Consistent Quality, Reliability Experience and jointly led in Video Experience.
