Orange Business has formally launched its new Defence & Security Division (Direction Défense & Sécurité – DD&S), marking a significant strategic commitment to national sovereignty and resilience. The move fully aligns with Orange’s ‘Lead the Future’ transformation plan and underlines its intention to focus on sectors where sovereignty, security and technological excellence intersect.
The creation of DD&S reflects Orange’s ambition to serve as a trusted partner to defence and homeland security actors in France and Europe, providing sovereign, secure and resilient digital solutions.
Meeting the demands of a complex sector
The defence and security landscape increasingly depends on advanced digital infrastructure, requiring robust data sovereignty, resilient connectivity, regulatory compliance and cyber protection.
The newly formed division responds directly to these challenges by consolidating several hundred Orange Business experts into a single, specialised unit.
The team will work closely with government ministries, national operators and industry leaders across defence and homeland security to support critical digital transformation efforts.

Leading the newly formed division will be Nassima Auvray, Director of Defence & Security.
