Verizon is powering the next phase of sports innovation as the NHL launches its Innovation Lab at the Prudential Center.

NHL combines Verizon 5G technology with Sony's high-resolution media systems, as pictured, to test new tech before it reaches the ice.

By implementing a Private Wireless Network from Verizon, the NHL was able to build a consistent tech experience for their teams across 32 arenas.

The facility is designed as a simulated arena environment and allows new technologies to be tested and refined.
