Justin Shields has been appointed as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at du, a prominent telecommunications operator in the United Arab Emirates. With a career spanning more than two decades, his appointment is set to accelerate du's digital transformation agenda.

Justin moves to du from Vodafone Business and brings experience from Accenture, positioning him to guide du’s strategy in a competitive connectivity landscape.

His career includes leadership positions across several continents. At Vodafone Business, Justin was responsible for enterprise technology initiatives that centred on network modernisation, the delivery of digital services and extensive IT transformation projects.

His earlier tenure at Accenture provided him with a foundation in consulting, systems integration and cloud strategy, where he assisted blue-chip clients in adapting their technology frameworks to meet the demands of evolving markets.
