Voxility Launches Integrated IaaS Model for Telcos

Voxility, an international Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider, has launched its Connect Like You Mean It campaign, targeting telecommunications operators seeking faster, more controllable infrastructure growth.
It is offering US$10,000 in infrastructure credits for telcos building private, scalable IaaS environments.
Founded in 2004, Voxility operates across major Internet hubs in Europe, North America and Asia, delivering dedicated hardware, network, colocation and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection services.
Its infrastructure spans more than 23 global data centres and supports telecommunications operators, cloud service providers and enterprises requiring private infrastructure with full operational control.
It manages one of the top 100 Internet networks worldwide, directly interconnected with more than 2,200 peers.
The network enables Voxility to deliver predictable performance and connectivity options for telcos seeking to consolidate their infrastructure footprint.
Silviu Sirbu on telco infrastructure agility
Voxility’s model centres on OPEX-based infrastructure, allowing operators to build private, physical environments without the abstraction of public cloud resources.
The approach enables service providers to deploy within Tier-3 data centres globally, gaining the flexibility of cloud operations while maintaining visibility and ownership.
“Telcos are under immense pressure to grow their networks faster while keeping infrastructure simple, secure and profitable,” says Silviu Sirbu, CEO at Voxility.
“Our integrated IaaS stack gives them the freedom to grow with one platform that brings hardware, connectivity, colocation and security together in the largest Internet hubs worldwide.
“It’s a practical way for operators to scale on demand without handing control to the public cloud. We’ve built this model to help telcos expand globally with the same confidence and ownership they have in their own network.”
Its IaaS stack consolidates key operational functions under one provider. It includes on-demand dedicated servers, premium colocation with flexible cross-connects and direct Internet access through its extensive network of peers.
The platform further integrates DDoS mitigation capabilities, offering a consistent operational layer for service delivery.
Integrated IaaS and the elimination of vendor fragmentation
The Voxility IaaS approach allows telecommunications operators to manage network growth under a single operational framework.
It eliminates the need to coordinate with multiple vendors, simplifying the deployment process while maintaining control over physical resources.
It positions the unified infrastructure model as an alternative to public cloud dependency, where costs and visibility often present operational challenges.
Silviu explains that market dynamics are forcing operators to rethink how they build and extend networks.
“The market is moving too fast to manage multiple vendors and SLAs across a global footprint. Now more than ever, telcos need agility, simplicity and efficiency," he says.
“We’ve built an infrastructure model that removes fragmentation entirely and gives telcos the tools they need to serve their own needs or build and sell new solutions to their customers. It’s about giving telcos the ability to grow where and when they need to, without compromise on control or performance.”
The integrated IaaS model introduces a pay-as-you-grow option for operators managing fluctuating capacity demands.
It allows them to align operational expenditure directly with network usage, a model suited to environments where demand varies by region or customer type.
Voxility’s role across global data hubs
Operating from more than 23 data centres in strategic Internet locations, Voxility provides infrastructure options designed to interconnect telcos with key content and service providers.
Voxility’s direct access to more than 2,200 peers supports latency-sensitive applications and emerging service models dependent on proximity and bandwidth predictability.
Voxility’s presence across major hubs enables telcos to maintain operational control of their environments while scaling geographically. It highlights ownership, transparency and control, differentiating it from traditional cloud models, which abstract resource visibility from the operator.
Silviu maintains that operational transparency is central to the company’s offer.
“Our goal is to give operators the same degree of control and oversight they have in their own networks, even when they expand internationally,” he says.
“It’s an approach that meets the operational realities of today’s telecom market, where ownership and reliability must be balanced with speed and efficiency.”
The introduction of infrastructure credits through the Connect Like You Mean It campaign supports new telcos seeking to establish or expand their IaaS presence.
"It further signals Voxility’s ongoing strategy to position integrated, private IaaS as a viable alternative to public cloud environments for critical network functions,” he says.
